STX Corporation’s LPG station launched in Russia’s Far East
VLADIVOSTOK, Aug 2 (PRIME) -- The first cisterns with liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) have been transported to the LPG dispensing station of South Korea’s STX Corporation in Russia's Far East to be further dispatched to China, the region’s government said in a statement on Wednesday.
“The Russian-Korean joint LPG dispensing station … was launched,” the statement said.
“The first railway cisterns with LPG came by rail … from Surgut to be sent by trucks further to China.”
The 600 million ruble LPG station has become the first terminal completed in the region under an economic program for redistribution of trade flows from the West to the East. The station will transport up to 20,000 tonnes of LPG per year mainly to the countries of the Asia–Pacific Region, the government said.
